An Indian Classical musical event
9.30am – 11.30am: ‘Singing Strings and Voices’ – students of Smt. Srividya Venkat delight us with their violin and vocal performances
11.30am – 12.30pm: ‘Melting Melodies’ – A soulful Indian Carnatic music concert by Sri. Ramachandra Kannan
1.30pm – 4pm:
‘Celebrating the works of Muthuswami Dhikshitar on his 250th Birth Anniversary’ – a lecture demonstration bu Dr. Padmanabhan Shakkotai
‘The Magic of Mohiniattam’ – a traditional dance performance by Smt. Rashmi Sudhir and Smt. Remya Nambiar
‘Meet and Greet your Luthier’ – Libby Summers from Stamford Strings introduces us to the world of violin making (in Committee room)
‘East meets West’ – a fusion percussion combining the Indian percussion artists’ with Mr. Jono Guinness on the digeridoo

The performances take place across a series of sessions from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday (May 23) at the Dunchurch Sportsfield and Village Hall.
The luthier meet and greet takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm at the Village Hall community room.
