Rugby Festival of Culture 2019: Community Town Centre Music at St Andrew's Church
Fun and fund-raising in aid of the St Andrew's Church Project, and the Rotary Music Bursaries Trust.
Continuing the tradition of Saturday morning music-making at St Andrew's, for and by the community. The St Andrew's Singers, a come-and-sing community choir based at the church and directed by Angela Youngman-Stewart, are joined by young people who have been supported in their music-making by Rotary Bursaries, and other friends. Their aim is three hours of continuous music, 10:00 till 13:00, and they seek not only donations but also town-centre involvement. Drop in while shopping, buy a coffee and join in, come and listen and/or take part, learn songs and perform them with them in a few minutes, let's see how many Rugby citizens they can bring together in the church for sheer love of community-music-making.
