Heritage Open Days - Marton Museum of Country Bygones
A museum of local rural artefacts developed from the collection made by George Tims, a village resident, who died in January 2005.
An eclectic mix of artefacts showing how people lived and worked in the country. All of the exhibits were acquired locally and cover a wide variety of aspects of country life. There will be corn dolly demonstrations and other local crafts will, we hope, be on show. There will be homemade cakes and refreshments on sale, Covid permitting.
Wheelchair access is available but restricted. Toilets available in the Pavilion next door to Museum. Museum will be signposted with A frame boards from the A423.
