Rugby's family-friendly bike festival is back on Sunday 19th May 2019, 10am - 4pm. As always, expect plenty of classic bikes, stalls, music, food and family entertainment.
One of the highlights of the day is the ‘Ride-in’, where hundreds of bikes roar into the town centre creating a fantastic spectacle along with a deafening noise. Make sure you are in the town centre for 10am - you don’t want to miss it!
Please be aware the bikes will do a circuit of the town centre before parking up on North Street and Church Street so it is important that visitors stay off the road and follow the advice of the event stewards until the bikes are in position.
If you own a bike and would like to join the ‘Ride-in’ all you need to do is register your details via Eventbrite – what are you waiting for? Route details and the meeting point are available on registration.
Programme and Entertainment
This year’s music line up is certain to get you all revved up as some fantastic local bands take to the stages in the Market Place and outside Mister Robinson’s (Church Street). Full line-up, timings and locations will be confirmed and published in the coming weeks.
There will be lots of fun family entertainment including a funfair, face-painting and glitter, circus skills, silly bikes and children’s games.
Food & Drink
Alongside the bikes and entertainment, we have plenty of delicious fuel to feed your engines – burgers, pizza, jerk chicken, curries, cakes, ice-cream and much more. Don’t forget to check out some of the great pubs, cafes and restaurants that Rugby town centre has to offer.
Rugby Bikefest will once again operate a Helmet Park outside St Andrew’s Church. This will be open between 10am and 3.45pm and hosted by the Christian Motorcycle Association. There will be a charge of £1 per helmet with additional items charged at fifty pence each. All proceeds will go to St Andrew’s Church.
Extreme Wheelie Machine
The ‘Extreme Wheelie’ machine is returning this year! This amazing bit of kit is both a motorcycle simulator and a virtual reality experience. If you have always longed for the thrill of the elusive wheelie or want to know how to control the unexpected wheelie - here is your chance.
Enjoy Moto Gymkhana – the most fun you can have on a motorbike! Moto Gymkhana is a high energy, technical motorcycle sport that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s all about skill – requiring accurate control and bursts of speed – rider ability not horsepower is the key to steering round a course of obstacles.
We even have some amazing cars and racing karts for the petrol heads!

If you are interested in having a stall at the event or other event participation, please contact the organisers on (01788) 890789 or 07817 312718 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
