Group Visits: The Rugby Experience

The Rugby town has created an easy, single-price group package ticket - The Rugby Experience - incorporating visits to the World Rugby Hall of Fame, Rugby School and the Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum.  These can be self-led or accompanied by a Rugby Town Guide.  

The Rugby Experience for Groups is £15 per adult and provides:

  • A tour of the town with a Rugby Town Guide (who can also meet your group on arrival)
  • Entry into the World Rugby Hall of Fame visitor attraction
  • A light refreshment at the World Rugby Hall of Fame/Rugby Art Gallery and Museum's Maia cafe
  • A tour of Rugby School
  • Entry into the William Webb Ellis Football Museum (free entry)

Whether you are making a booking for a specific group package or wish to visit for a self-led tour, to book the Rugby Experience for Groups you must book in advance by calling (01788) 533217 to speak to our award winning Visitor Information Centre and booking team or email  A price for groups including children can also be discussed with the Visitor Centre team.

Parking and Practicalities

The group rate applies to groups of between 10-50 people.

The duration of the full Rugby Experience tour is approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.

Coach parking is available in Westway Car Park, 5 minutes walk from the World Rugby Hall of Fame and Rugby School, with a charge of £10 per coach, refundable to the coach driver in the form of a voucher to spend in the town on refreshments. Please contact the Visitor Information Centre team on (01788) 533217 for more details. Coach bookings should preferably be made at least two days prior to arrival.

The guided tour of Rugby School is not suitable for all visitors due to the age and listed status of the buildings. If your group contains wheelchair users or those who have difficulty walking please contact us for further information. The World Rugby Hall of Fame has good disabled access to the building and a lift to all floors.
