Award winning festival less than two weeks away

The Rugby Festival of Culture kicks off on 24 June. Published: Monday, 12th June 2017

One of Rugby’s most popular events – the Rugby Festival of Culture – is less than two weeks away.

Organisers are encouraging people to get their festival tickets now, where applicable, to avoid disappointment. The three-week festival, extended a week this year to incorporate ‘The Festival on the Close’ is supported by Rugby First and Rugby Borough Council, and takes place from Saturday 24 June until Sunday 16 July in Rugby town centre.

The festival now in its seventh year offers an exciting fun filled quality programme that includes art, literature, music, dance, food, drink and film. Whatever your taste, age, interest or passion the programme certainly won’t disappoint.

Some of the highlights this year include an outdoor screening of La La Land, an Art Trail, Roald Dahls ‘The Twits’, a ukulele workshop and performance, an audience with Ann Widdecombe, Sister Act with live Choir, and much more.
