Rugby Food and Drink Festival Hotting Up!
If you love your food and drink then don’t miss the Rugby Food and Drink Festival taking place in Rugby town centre on Saturday 29th September, between 10.30 am and 5 pm.
The event taking place on Regent Street and in St Andrew’s Church and Gardens will celebrate the amazing variety of high quality food and drink the town has to offer. On the menu will be stalls selling an array of delicious food, a pop-up demonstration kitchen, family entertainment and music. A delicious mix of ingredients guaranteed to whet your appetite and quench your thirst!
Stroll around a selection of stalls offering high quality mouth-watering treats from local businesses, farms and producers. Much of the food will be freshly cooked, sizzling, full of flavour and ready to eat!
As part of the festival why not visit the pop-up kitchen where a variety of lively, informative and colourful demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day. A great place to pick up tips, talk directly with chefs and try some amazing food.
Aftab Gaffar, Managing Director of Rugby First said:
Rugby town centre has some great food and drink offers and the festival is a great way to raise awareness of them. Last year’s festival was very successful and had a significant impact on town centre footfall and we are hoping for the same again this year.
Cllr Sebastian Lowe, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for growth and investment, said:
This is an excellent opportunity for visitors from Rugby and beyond to experience all the town has to offer in terms of food and drink.
