We understand, you want to read more but with traditional book clubs you might feel forced to read a book that isn’t quite to your taste and then have the pressure to say something about it.

Well, at a silent book club there’s no allocated reading – you bring your own choice, in whatever format suits you! whether it is paperbacks, eBooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, textbooks or even the local paper.

So come along, collect your silent book club sticker so others know you are participating, take a seat and get some ‘me time’ with a dedicated hour of reading, in the company of others, but with no pressure to talk. Then at the end of the hour – if you wish – you can socialise with the other readers.
