How to get to Rugby

By train

Rugby has excellent, frequent rail links to Coventry, Birmingham and Northampton, with London Euston less than an hour away. Rugby station is on the West Coast Main Line — 50 min from London Euston, 20 min from Coventry, 35 min from Birmingham. Rugby town centre is a 15-20 minutes’ walk from the train station.

National Rail

By car

Rugby is easily accessible from junctions 18, 19 and 20 of the M1. Junction 1 of the M6 and Junction 1 of the M45 are both within 2 miles for easy access to the town.

Parking

By bus

Local bus services connect Rugby to Leicester and Northampton. Stagecoach Midlands operates services to Rugby from Coventry, Leamington, Daventry and surrounding villages.

The National Cycle Network Route 41, also known as the Lias Line, connects Rugby to Leamington Spa via a very picturesque route through villages, reservoirs and canals.

Birmingham, East Midlands and London Luton Airports are all within a comfortable travelling distance to Rugby. There is a direct train link from Birmingham Airport. East Midlands is a 45 minutes' drive and Luton an hour’s drive from Rugby.

Fly into Birmingham

By taxi

Taxi ranks are located by the railway station and the clock tower in Rugby town centre. Clocktower taxi rank drops you in the centre of Rugby whilst the train station is only a short 15-20 minute walk into the town centre.
