Summer Sessions: Theatre in the Park

Join Peter and his naughty cousin Benjamin at Caldecott Park on their hair-raising adventures in Quantum Theatre’s delightful adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s much-loved Tales.

Expect creative crafts for all the family, make something memorable to enjoy during the performance and take away.

Performances start promptly at 12pm and 3pm. Each performance is 90 minutes in length so be sure to bring refreshments, or pop down to Hatty Bakewell’s to pick up a drink and a tasty treat.

This is an outdoor production, so please bring fold-away chairs,  blankets and a picnic. Remember to dress for the weather, and bring sun protection if required.

Outdoor Cinema

Experience movie magic in Caldecott Park!
We are bringing a bumper three films a day to Rugby town centre. Bring family, friends and neighbours to enjoy the big screen. Don’t forget your blankets and chairs for unforgettable fun in comfort.
Showings at 12pm, 3pm & 6pm.

Silent Book Club

Join us for our Silent Book Club where we read silently together – no pressure to discuss, just enjoy the company.
You asked for it – we sorted it! A Silent Book Club.

We understand, you want to read more but with traditional book clubs you might feel forced to read a book that isn’t quite to your taste and then have the pressure to say something about it.

Well, at a silent book club there’s no allocated reading – you bring your own choice, in whatever format suits you! whether it is paperbacks, eBooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, textbooks or even the local paper.

So come along, collect your silent book club sticker so others know you are participating, take a seat and get some ‘me time’ with a dedicated hour of reading, in the company of others, but with no pressure to talk. Then at the end of the hour – if you wish – you can socialise with the other readers.

Saturday Duplo Club

Join us on the second Saturday of the month for Duplo activities for ages 2-5. DROP-IN (no need to book).
Play games, build mazes and take part in many more fun Duplo activities on the second Saturday of every month at Rugby Library!
Suitable for children aged 2-5 years.
All children to be accompanied by an adult.
