Overview

Festive Fun

The Festive Window Trail is a free, self-guided activity for residents and visitors between 21 November and 31 December. It’s designed to encourage people to explore the town centre and visit local businesses during the festive season.

Up to twelve town centre businesses will be selected to take part. Each participating business will receive a free festive window design hand-painted by local professional artist Alphabeth.

Completing the trail

Explore Rugby

Trail participants will travel across the town centre to visit each business and window included in the trail. They must find clues hidden within each festive window design, and collect a stamp from inside each participating business to solve the mystery and complete the trail.

Expressions of Interest

Take Part

Businesses interested in taking part in the trail must complete the Expression of Interest Form by 5pm on 31st August. Please note that submission of the form does not guarantee participation in the Trail.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel to ensure the trail is diverse, well-balanced and spread-out throughout the town centre. A maximum of twelve businesses will be selected.

Selection Process

Showcase your business

The Festive Window Trail is an opportunity for town centre businesses to showcase who they are and what they offer. Each hand painted window design will be unique to participating businesses and agreed with the artist.

Businesses can strengthen their expression of interest by telling us how they will promote their participation and support the trail via seasonal activity during the trail period. Complimentary seasonal activity can include a festive in-store event, promotional offer or enhanced seasonal window display. Businesses can find more information on how they will be scored via the scoring matrix.
