The sports, arts and community small grants returned in 2026, offering up to £2,000 for activities and events across the borough that celebrated and showcased a healthier, thriving, greener and fairer Rugby.

The grant funding supports local businesses, community and voluntary organisations to organise events and activities for the Love Rugby Festival period, encouraging wider participation and promotion of arts, music, culture, sport and family entertainment.

A total of £30,000 was awarded to successful groups, artists, sports clubs and businesses who applied to deliver an event or activity. Funded activity included arts and crafts workshops, live music, cultural events and activities, free taster sessions and open days, as well as much more!
