Rugby Visitor Centre has all the information you need to make your visit to the birthplace of the game one to remember.

We aim to offer a friendly, welcoming and fully accessible experience for everyone.

Located in the foyer of Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, we aim to offer a friendly, welcoming and fully accessible experience for everyone. Our team can help you plan your visit, provide local information and assist with booking tours and attractions across the town.

We have a well-stocked shop with souvenirs of the town, the game and gift ideas themed around the exhibitions at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.

We are located in the heart of town, in the foyer of Rugby Art Gallery, Museum and Library. Our helpful team can help you plan your visit and make the most of your day in Rugby.

Visitor experiences

Rugby Visitor Centre coordinate a range of visitor experiences, including award-winning Rugby Town Tours. These free guided walking tours take visitors on a journey throughout the town centre, exploring landmarks including the William Webb Ellis statue, the Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum and many other historic sites. 

Whether you’re a rugby fan, local history enthusiast or simply wish to explore the town and its heritage, Rugby Visitor Centre provide the perfect starting points for discovering the stories behind the birthplace of the game.

Accessible Space

You can access the visitor centre via a pedestrian ramp. An accessible toilet and lift is available onsite. Assistance dogs are also welcome.
